In the future, we aim to make this space a creative platform for our young people. If someone has an interest in art, design, or fashion, we want to support them to create and launch their own range of products. Through this process, they’ll gain valuable, real-world experience in creative design, marketing, business management, budgeting, teamwork, and entrepreneurship — transferable skills that open doors to education, employment, and self-employment opportunities.
One of our first slogans, “No More Bin Bag Moves,” captures a difficult reality faced by many care leavers, who are often forced to move their belongings in black bin bags when transitioning between placements. It’s a symbol of instability and the lack of dignity too many young people experience. Our message is simple: every young person deserves to move forward with pride, security, and belonging.
